A man claims to have been attacked by restless spirits while praying at Mount Oe. Suspecting that Genma might be to blame, Musashi sets out to investigate.

The Genma defeated, Musashi reports back to the pious pilgrim, who is grateful to once again be able to offer up prayers for the deceased on Mount Oe.
