A Wife's Prayer
An ailing man on Kiyomizu-zaka Slope is apparently treating his wife very badly indeed, despite her earnest efforts to pray for his recovery. Urged to look into the matter by Shizuka and Lady Murasaki, Musashi sets off to Kiyomizu-dera Temple to check in on the poor woman and hear her side of the story.
Something in the Water
The man Musashi helped at Kiyomizu-dera Temple has fallen ill after drinking the sacred water of Otowa Waterfall. Unable to make sense of why the sacred water should produce such a noxious effect, he heads off to Kiyomizu-dera Temple to investigate the matter.
The Faceless
Musashi bumps into a woman he previously met at Yasui Konpiragu Shrine who tells him that a strange creature known as a Faceless has begun haunting a nearby house. Intrigued, Musashi decides to look into whether her tale is fact or fiction...
The Blessed Man
A man claiming to be "blessed by the heavens" has challenged Musashi to a duel. Musashi turns him down and sends him packing, only to give chase when he learns that the man is wreathed in abnormal Malice.
The Night Parade
A member of Okuni's troupe is looking for a charm dropped by one of her regulars. The man apparently lost it while trying to escape a large procession of spirits known as a "Night Parade," and is now fearful of leaving the area unprotected. Ever helpful, Musashi agrees to recover the charm.
Worm-ly Ways
During a visit to Yasaka Koshin-do Temple, Musashi is invited to join a cult that worships a trio of creatures called the Three Worms. At Lady Murasaki's behest, Musashi heads off to check in on their all-night congregations, which are held at meeting halls marked by three flags.
