Musashi begrudgingly accepts a job from a pushy monk who tells him that he can rid himself of worldly thoughts and find peace of mind by tending to a place in need of tidying up.

After clearing
The place in need of tidying was in fact overrun with Genma. Before Musashi can complain of having been duped, the monk stops him to say that the arrangement between them was mutually advantageous, and sets off on his way.
