After Yoshitsune's declaration of war, Musashi regains his bearings at Rokudo-chinnoji Temple, where Shizuka and Takamura, each weighed down by feelings of shame and duty, urge him to right past wrongs.

After hearing his friends' earnest pleas, Musashi resolves to take heart in his impossible struggle. Racing through the capital to close several Rifts opened up by Yoshitsune, he senses that a familiar presence has returned to Kennin-ji Temple.
